Capture Energy’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) feature the advanced Capture Controller, essential for seamless operation and quick commissioning. This controller, though not an energy management system (EMS), coordinates with a third party EMS and other external systems for optimal integration. It handles commands, has sensors required for flexibility services, ensuring the BESS operates efficiently and safely within specified limits.
Additionally, the Capture Controller includes a gateway for internet access (both fiber and wireless connection with failover to provide redundant connection), an Operation and Maintenance System (OMS) for data monitoring and remote control, and supports multiple aggregators for flexibility. The OMS collects and uploads data for monitoring and analysis, while the gateway ensures continuous internet access with failover protection.
