Capture Energy appoints Niklas Tjäder as new CEO
Morten Hagen (CEO) moves into a new role, and Niklas Tjäder (CCO) assumes leadership of Capture Energy
Gothenburg, Sweden – October 30, 2025 – Capture Energy today announced a leadership transition as Morten Hagen steps down from his role as Chief Executive Officer to focus on the company’s strategic Platform Intelligence initiatives. Niklas Tjäder, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), will assume the role of CEO while continuing to oversee the company’s commercial operations.
Morten Hagen, who has led Capture Energy since its founding, has driven significant growth and positioned the company as a key player in the energy sector. He will remain with the company to lead the development and expansion of Capture Energy’s Platform Intelligence services – the company’s AI and Cloud offerings – areas that are central to its future growth strategy.
